HOW MY FATHER DIED – Nollywood actress Collette Orji tells Star Magazine

 

Last week, beautiful Nollywood actress Collette Orji lost her beloved father. Today, Star Magazine spoke with the mourning star and below are what she told Kelvin Tita (Live Online With Kelvin Tita one of our Correspondent).

What really happened, was he sick?

Not exactly, I noticed that he was suddenly too quiet and I didn’t like the way he was looking and I told him that, but he insisted he was ok. So I asked him to go to the hospital to do some tests and show me the results the next day, to prove to me that he was ok. He agreed and went to the hospital and never came back. He died the next day at the hospital.

Were you in the hospital with him?

He was supposed to go for only testing, but got admitted to the hospital. When we learnt of his sudden admission, I and my mom rushed there. Yes I was there when he died, it’s so sad. I watched the doctors and nurses run up and down to save him, but finally, he gave up the ghost. That was the hardest time for me.

And how are you feeling now?

Mix feelings, sadness. I still could not believe it. I wish it’s just a bad dream.
